JA Worldwide Expands in Pakistan to Unlock the Boundless Potential of Youth
April 24–26, 2025
JA Pakistan (also known as Resilient Next Generation Foundation) officially launched its operations in Pakistan with events held April 24–26. The organization has an ambitious goal: to reach one million Pakistani youth annually by 2030 through hands-on learning in entrepreneurship, work and tech readiness, and financial literacy.
“I am passionate about what this partnership can bring to this country,” said Dr Haroon Latif, CEO, Life Pakistan, and Chairman of JA Pakistan. “JA believes deeply in the boundless potential of young people, and with the right tools and opportunities, today’s youth will shape a thriving and prosperous Pakistan.”
The launch included several important events. At the University of Lahore on April 24th, over 200 students between the ages of 12 and 17 from 19 local schools participated in a JA Innovation Camp. Their challenge was to devise business ideas that addressed pollution, gender equality, or youth unemployment. Twenty mentors from the University of Lahore coached the students throughout the event, and the teams presented their business innovations to nine judges. JA Pakistan will be partnering with the University of Lahore’s new Innovation Hub to promote youth entrepreneurship and innovation in the community.
At Rashid Latif Khan University (RLKU) on April 25, JA Pakistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding that aims to equip RLKU students with future-ready skills to enhance their technical and professional credentials. “RLKU is convinced that when young people graduate, they need to be highly adaptable and resilient,” remarked Sabahat Khan, CEO of RLKU. “This partnership with JA Pakistan will give them future-ready learning experiences and the mindset and skills to thrive wherever they go from here.”
On April 26, JA Pakistan organized a master training session for 20 teachers actively involved in entrepreneurship education. These trainers will be able to teach other educators how to bring entrepreneurship competencies into the classroom through immersive experiences such as the JA Company Program.
With one of the largest youth populations in the world, Pakistan is poised to benefit greatly from immersive, skills-based education that connects classroom learning with real-world opportunity. JA Pakistan’s mission aligns with national education goals and aims to complement public-sector efforts to equip the next generation for the future of work.
As a member of the OneJA network, JA Pakistan gains access to more than 100 years of global experience across 100+ countries. Proven models from peer countries include:
JA Philippines, which reaches over 1 million students annually through close alignment with education ministries and broad school access.
JA Brazil, which reaches 740,000 youth via a state-spanning office network that thrives even in regions with limited digital infrastructure.
JA Romania, which engages 450,000 students annually by leveraging low-tech tools and offering certified teacher training tied to national priorities.
“We’re not starting from scratch—we’re starting from strength,” said JA Worldwide COO, Caroline Jenner. “JA Pakistan stands on the shoulders of a global movement, and with the right local leadership, it will become one of the most dynamic and impactful JA member countries in the world.”
